16th Annual Boreas Pass Railroad Day: Start either at Como Roundhouse or in Breckenridge in celebration of railroad history of this area. Basically self-guided driving tour which includes stops at Como Roundhouse, Como Depot, Como
School, Roberts Cabin, Rocky Point, Section House, Baker’s Tank and the historic Engine No. 9 in Breck.; each stop has guides and some have special programs. *New this Year – Professional Lumberjack Adam LaSalle will be demonstrating how
the railroad workers obtained and processed lumber. Engine #9 has finally arrived at the Rotary Snowplow Park. *Back this Year – The handcart will be back at Rocky Point where visitors can operate and ride it. Tours and slideshows of the Stone Roundhouse will be going on all day. Pieces from the Andy Anderson collection will be on display at the Como Depot. Quilting and weaving demos as well as a schoolmarm will be at the Como School. Historical characters will be at Robert’s Cabin, Rocky Point, and the Section House stops.
