Jazz at Vail Square returns to LionsHead Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. through Sept. 1 with the first of nine free shows outside the Arrabelle Hotel in LionsHead. Presented in a tented venue seating 300-plus, this dynamic concert series features national jazz artists with styles ranging from Swing to straight ahead, Latin Jazz to the American Songbook.

In a trajectory that began with pop/soul albums in the early ‘90s, the vocalist-saxophonist-songwriter has spent the past several years cementing his reputation as a formidable jazz singer.
