Three-Generation Golf Tournament July 2
Form your team now for the first Three-Generation Golf Tournament in the valley, sponsored by the Parent’s Handbook and Transition Sports in Avon, and hosted by EagleVail. The 3-Generation Golf Tournament on the Willow Creek Par 3 course on Saturday, July 2, will have a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Ten teams will launch onto the 9-hole course simultaneously, with one team playing the 10th hole, a surprise golfing competition.
Teams consist of one junior player under age 16, one player age 17 – 40, and one player over 40. Teammates do not have to be related, but there will be a special prize for family teams. Cost of the tournament is $50/team which includes green fees, refreshments, awards, and half-price swimming at the new EagleVail Swimming Pool.
The beneficiary of the tournament is First Tee, a program of The Youth Foundation that makes golf accessible to young players throughout the valley. Tournament sponsor, Transition Sports, is a family friendly consignment shop in Avon for new and gently use sports equipment for kids and adults. Wondering what to do with the kids today?
