The Vail Recreation District (VRD) will hold a moving sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.on Saturday (4-23) at the Imagination Station and its Youth Services offices, located in the LionsHead parking structure above Subway. The public is encouraged to take advantage of affordable prices on everything from kitchen appliances to office and children’s furniture, to children’s books and games, plus interactive and educational materials from past Imagination Station displays. “We’re selling everything,” said Chad Young, VRD Youth Services Supervisor. “Shoppers will get a great a deal, and help out the Youth Services programs at the same time. Make an offer!” Proceeds from the sale will help buy new displays for the renovated Imagination Station or benefit the VRD’s Youth Services programs. The Youth Services offices will be moving to Dobson Ice Arena and the Golden Peak Children’s Center until October to accomodate construction on the Town of Vail’s LionsHead Transit Center. During this time, the Imagination Station, will also undergo renovations. Both the Imgaination Station and the Youth Services Offices will reopen in the LionsHead Transit Welcome Center this winter to welcome young visitors to a new and improved facility.
