In the words of VPAC’s Executive Director, Kris Sabel:  “It’s a rare opportunity to experience such an event, all on the Vilar Center stage. We’ve been privileged to have great orchestras and we’ve been privileged to have great choruses, but this is the first time we’ve actually had an orchestra and chorus together on the VPAC stage. I’m so excited imagining how pleasantly overwhelming it will be to hear the incredible blend of 150 performers in the intimacy and warm acoustics of the Vilar Center. It’s hard to find anyone who doesn’t understand the beauty of the opening chords of Mozart’s Requiem.”
