Wednesday Winter Art Walks in Vail

Wednesdays, 3:30 to 5 p.m., Dec. 15 through April 20

Meet each Wednesday afternoon at the Vail Village Visitor Information Center on the top level of the parking structure for a free guided tour of Vail Village and the public art collection. After an introduction to the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum, the tour then winds its way through the Village with discussions of the history of the Vail Valley, the founding of Vail Mountain, the master planning of the Village, and the importance of site specific commissioned art in creating the charm of the Vail. The Town’s public art collection includes over 37 works ranging from sculptures, murals, playground components, and site-integrated art.
