Vail’s Street Beat winter outdoor concert series is back. Coming to Street Beat on Thursday, December 16 at 6:30pm is the Emmitt Nershi Band. Jam band legends Emmitt and Nershi are forward-thinking bluegrass musicians. Emmitt comes from Leftover Salmon and Nershi the String Cheese Incident. They know just how to do the rock ‘n’ roll thing. They like to keep their music human-scaled and honest. The virtuosic sound they produce is balanced by un-flashy playing that draws on their experience. This is the first of the Vail Valley Foundation’s winter outdoor concert series, now playing on Thursday nights around Vail.
