Every Monday morning, Kitty Gwathmey, a certified ski instructor and local, provides wonderful on-mountain guided ski tours of Vail Mountain! This is a great way to learn more about the history of the trail names, how the runs were created, and some favorite places to ski or snowboard. Many people who have taken the ski tour have said it was incredibly interesting and a fun and different way to ski or board around Vail for a few hours!
Meet at the museum at 9:30 a.m. on any Monday dressed to go, with ski or snowboard gear and ticket or pass. Suggested donation: $5. For questions or to confirm time and place, contact the museum at 970-476-1876.
