CMC invites all readers to participate in their Common Reader program

CMC Common Reader – Kevin Michael Connolly author of Double Take: A Memoir

The 2010/11 academic year marks the fourth year of the common reader program at CMC. Every year, faculty, staff and students across all campuses nominate one book to read. The program has grown in participation, readership and creative opportunities. This engaging experience provides an opportunity to meet and dialogue with authors.
This year’s selection, Double Take, is the story of Kevin Michael Connolly, who was born without legs and went on to travel the world. His journey will change the way you look at others, and the way you see yourself.
Read Double Take and participate in Colorado Mountain College’s common reader program. Check out the Facebook Page, and there will be classroom discussions and creative contests. The author’s visit will provide an opportunity to explore Double Take along with community members and CMC students. Meet author Kevin Michael Connolly on November 5th at Vail Christian High School.
