Vail’s skatepark, located on the top deck of the LionsHead parking structure, will close for the season at dusk on Oct. 10. Beginning Oct. 11, crews from the Town of Vail and the Vail Recreation District, with the assistance of Hazard County Construction of Georgia who built the features, will begin the process of dismantling and storage of the skatepark. Removal will take four to five days.
