The Town of Vail will host its remaining neighborhood picnic of the summer Aug. 24 at Ellefson Park, 2507 Arosa Dr. in West Vail. The picnic will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and food and drink will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The picnic provides residents an opportunity to offer comments and suggestions about community issues to members of the Vail Town Council and town staff.
An earlier picnic at Bighorn Park attracted an estimated 400 attendees with comments ranging from stream mitigation concerns to additional information on wildfire evacuation plans and notification.
