The Vail Soul Music Fest takes place this weekend at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater and the lower bench of Ford Park and features music, concerts, exhibits, youth seminars, expo and after-parties. Music encompasses R & B, Conscious Rap, Alternative Rock and Neo Soul musicians — including three-time Grammy nominee, Raphael Saadiq, Grammy nominee Chrisette Michele, and emerging superstar Liv Warfield. Dwele and budding local talent Jonathan B. are just a two of the artists rounding out the list of performers — plus Family Youth Jam, Soul Village expo and evening “Soul Strolls” at Vail’s restaurants and music hot spots. Single day advance tickets are $35 general admission; $55 reserved seating ($45 and $65 day of show).
