An Evening with Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis Monday, July 12 8pm $85
Spend a hit-filled evening with Grammy Award-winners Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis. Backed by a few talented Nashville players, Lorrie and Pam will perform their respective hits and showcase other well-known songs that have meant something special in their lives. Audiences will experience both Grand Ole Opry members’ unique voices, amazing harmonies and captivating stage presence in the intimate setting of the Vilar Performing Arts Center.
The Music of ABBA with Arrival from Sweden Monday, July 19 8pm $58
Whether their songs bring you back to your days in the disco, or you fell in love with the music after seeing the Broadway and box office smash hit “Mamma Mia,” the timeless rock-pop of ABBA has been an undeniable force on the American music scene for decades. Now see their beloved songs come to life as the most renowned ABBA tribute band, Arrival, takes the Vilar Performing Arts Center stage. Arrival performs all of ABBA’s greatest hits with authenticity and authority, including “Dancing Queen,” “Waterloo,” “Mamma Mia” and “Take a Chance on Me,” to name a few.
Jonny Lang “Live…by Request” Thursday, July 22 8pm $58
Jonny Lang returns to Beaver Creek as a part of his “Live… by Request” tour, which allows fans to log on to Lang’s website (jonnylang.com) and request songs for him to perform live at the VPAC. Lang’s music is a cool blend of blues, rock, zydeco-tinged gospel and jazz. “The voice of a grizzled blues veteran… and guitar skills to match” (US News and World Report).
Mary Chapin Carpenter Thursday, July 29 8pm $72
Folk singer/songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter has been awarded five Grammys and sold over 13 million records. Her insightful lyrics and singular melodies have come to define decades of American music for her fans. Her performance at the Vilar Center will feature timeless hits and new music from her latest release, The Age of Miracles, which debuted this spring.
Keb’ Mo’ Thursday, August 5 9pm $58
Always performing to a full house, Keb’ Mo’ is the most requested artist in the history of the VPAC. The Grammy-winner’s distinctive sound embraces multiple eras and genres, including pop, rock, folk and jazz. In total, it owes as much to contemporary music’s singer/songwriter movement (encompassing his longtime friends and collaborators Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne), as to the spirit of blues godfather Robert Johnson that dwells in his work.
Randy Travis Monday, August 9 8pm

Randy Travis is one of the most prominent figures on the American country music landscape. Since he hit the scene in 1985, he has recorded more than a dozen studio albums, in addition to charting more than 30 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, 16 of which have reached #1. Most recently, he was nominated for a 2010 Academy of Country Music Award for the remake of his #1 hit “I Told You So,” performed as a duet with Carrie Underwood.
Ani DiFranco Saturday, August 14 8pm $50
Ani DiFranco has written hundreds of songs, played thousands of shows, captured the imaginations of legions of followers, and jammed with folkies, orchestras, rappers, rock and roll hall-of-famers, jazz musicians, poets, pop superstars and storytellers. She’s been called “fiercely independent” (Rolling Stone), “inspirational” (All Music Guide) and “the ultimate do-it-yourself songwriter” (The New York Times). She makes her eagerly awaited VPAC debut.
Herbie Hancock – The Imagine Project Wednesday, August 25 8pm $98/128
Herbie Hancock is a true icon of modern music. Throughout his musical explorations, Hancock has transcended limitations and genres while maintaining his unmistakable voice. Few artists in the music industry have had more influence on acoustic and electronic jazz and R&B than Herbie Hancock. As the immortal Miles Davis said in his autobiography, “Herbie was the step after Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk, and I haven’t heard anybody yet who has come after him.”
