Beaver Creek summer activities
Head up to Beaver Creek on the weekend for a wide variety of activities and pretty outdoor places to relax, refresh, and re-energize. Beaver Creek blossoms in summer. It’s a very inviting place to take the family or hang out on your own.
Beaver Creek Art Festival Saturday, July 31-Sunday, August 1
Over 150 artists will be in Beaver Creek Village for one weekend. Artwork will be on display including watercolors, oil & acrylic paintings, woodworking, glass, sculptures, furniture, mosaics, ceramics, and jewelry. Take advantage of the opportunity to meet exhibiting artists in person.

On Friday evenings in July and August, there’s “Fridays in the Park,” from 5 until 8 p.m. Families can have a great time with live music, giveaways, a “s’moregasbord” at the fire pit, and free gondola rides on the kids’ lift, the Buckaroo Express Gondola.
Check out events in Beaver Creek. While you’re there, go horseback riding or rent a bike and ride the path around the village or down to Avon. You can ride back up or take the bus. It’s a wonderful summer up there.
And don’t forget the Beaver Creek Rodeo on Thursdays at Traer Creek in Avon. Dates for 2010 are July 1, 8, 15, 22 and August 5, 12, and 19.
