July 10, 2010 – Liquid History of Leadville - Join Dr. Colorado, aka Colorado historian Dr. Tom Noel, on an afternoon lecture/tour of Leadville’s famous watering holes. July 31 – Aug 1, 2010 – History Alive! - Bring the family to meet and interact with history first hand. Historical interpreters representing people and professions from 19th century Leadville will share stories, demonstrate crafts and re-live life in general. Meet members from the Colorado National Guard established in Leadville in 1879, blacksmiths, mountain men, and sophisticated ladies! More information to follow.

August 28 – 29, 2010 – Tabor Legacy Weekend – Discover the Tabors and experience their turbulent history. With guide Fred Mark, geologist and mining history enthusiast, visit from start to finish the Leadville sites that made and broke the Tabors. Beginning with their placer claims and ending at the Matchless Mine and Baby Does Cabin, the tour also includes the Augusta’s home, the Little Pitsburgh, and the Tabor Opera House. A hearty lunch and transportation are provided, as well as free admission into the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum. Space limited. Tickets & Reservations Required. Price: TBD
September 11, 2010 – Annual National Mining Hall of Fame Induction Banquet – Join in the yearly celebration of this years new inductees into the National Mining Hall of Fame. This exquisite evening begins with a cocktail reception and open house of the museum, an elegant meal and induction ceremony. Afterward, catch up with friends and dance the night away.
