Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad is expanding its Wildflower Tours and planning three tours during the summer season. We have not raised any rates, and at $40.00 per person they are a steal. We have some fantastic specialists that have been doing our tours with us for over 5 years now. We want to encourage you, no matter what your interest, age or ability to join one of our tours. My own grandmother went just after knee surgery in 2008 and had a blast, it all depends on how much you want to push yourself. Either way, bring water, tennis shoes or hiking boots and a great sense of adventure and you will be amazed by the wilderness just at your finger tips. Now I want to promise a great wildflower excursion, but if fall comes early it might just turn into a mushroom hunt, so be open-minded and take lots of photographs.
