Political humorists The Capitol Steps make Beaver Creek laugh on Tuesday, March 9

Born at a Senate staff Christmas party in 1981 and inspired by incumbent president and former actor Richard Nixon, a group of Senate staffers determined that if entertainers could become politicians, then politicians could become entertainers. Working under the motto “we put the MOCK in democracy,” with skits and satirical humor, spoofing all things political. The Capitol Steps are the VPAC audience favorites and return to Beaver Creek for more hilarity.
