VAIL RECREATION DISTRICT WINTER YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES

It may be winter in Vail, Colorado, but you can play hoops after skiing or snowboarding. Vail Rec District’s Volleyball Cinics and High Country Hoops Basketball begin now.

Volleyball Clinics
The day and dates have changed for youth volleyball. Session 1, for grades second through fifth, will now be held from 4:30 to 6pm on Thursdays, Jan. 14 to Feb. 18. Also, Session 1 is now open to children in second grade. Session 2, for grades 6 through 8, will now take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays, Feb. 25 to April 8. Clinics will be coached by Battle Mountain High School head volleyball coach, Lara Bossow. Cost is $50 per session, per player.
High Country Hoops Basketball
High Country Hoops basketball for grades 5 through 6 is scheduled from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 15 to March 16. Each session will consist of 45 minutes of practice followed by a 45-minute game. Cost is $45 per player.

    Thanks for your visit to our Web site. Sports are moving outdoors with soccer, baseball, and the cyclists are out. Winters are chilly, but we just bundle up and play outdoors.
