Enjoy two evenings of Music on the Mountain from popular local bands: Xact Change on Sept. 26 and The Missing Link Band on Oct. 3, with drink specials and a “can for a tram” to benefit LIFT-UP
Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, Colo., is pleased to present Music on the Mountain, with two great evenings of live music, drinks specials and a chance to help LIFT-UP in the process. The outdoor concert series will feature two popular local bands, Xact Change on Sept. 26 and The Missing Link Band on Oct. 3, performing from 4 – 8 p.m. on top of Iron Mountain. Guests can ride the tram for free, up to a $12 value, with the donation of one can of food per rider beginning at 3 p.m. on the day of each concert. All of the donated food will be given to LIFT-UP to help stock up its Glenwood Springs food pantry for the coming holiday season.
“We’re really excited about Music on the Mountain this fall,” explained Steve Beckley, who owns Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park with his wife Jeanne. “It’s a chance to sit back and enjoy the music and the views with friends, and help out others in our community at the same time.”
On Saturday, Sept. 26, Xact Change will hit the stage with an eclectic mix of dance music that ranges from classic rock to pop to country. Xact Change band members come from up and down the valley and always bring a lot of energy and excitement to their performances. The following Saturday, Oct. 3, The Missing Link Band will get the crowd moving with an energetic blend of dance rock, funk and groove tunes. This Glenwood Springs band is known for its ability to please any audience with its diverse range of music.
The Lookout Grille and Iron Mountain Saloon will be open for dinner and refreshments, featuring $2.50 Coronas, and $2 Coors and Coors Lights. The Adventure Park’s rides and attractions will be open during the concerts. A Day Pass, just $25 with the free tram ride, includes unlimited access to the Canyon Flyer alpine coaster, Swing Shot giant swing, Ft. WhereAmI maze, Bungee Trampolines; 4D Theater, Laser Tag, Demon the Mechanical Bull; Wild West Wagon, Speleobox cave simulator, Doc’s Rock climbing wall and Giddy Up! Western ride.
