This is a big summer for the Gore Range Natural Science School. Besides providing learning adventures for kids and adults, the school is preparing to build a center for hands-on science education outside the classroom. The new center will be located in Avon on the north side of town with a view to the slopes of Beaver Creek. The school’s programs include scientific field study trips for school groups, outreach in the classrooms, interdisciplinary science education, teacher training workshops, summer science day programs, and residential science camps.
