The Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum is located in Vail, Colorado in the Vail Transportation Center in Vail Village. The private, non-profit organization was established in 1976 and is funded primarily by members and special events. The view from its front door looks onto Vail Mountain and the ski slopes made famous by many of those recognized within the museum. Photographs, artifacts, equipment, and clothing are on display telling the story of 130 of skiing in Colorado. The intrepid 10th Mountain Division and its story are well represented here.
