A fun getaway on your Vail vacation can take you pedaling a bike along the Colorado River on the 16-mile Glenwood Canyon Recreational Trail. It’s paved. There are picnic tables and restrooms. The scenery is stunning. Forgot your bike? Rent one at Canyon Bikes, along with a child trainer or tag-along, depending on how big the kids are. Remember the sunscreen, camera, water bottles and that picnic we were talking about. Along the way, there’s the Hanging Lake Trail – park your bikes (we’ll provide the locks)
