Go up Beaver Creek Mountain near Vail and ski in the winter or take a horseback ride in summer. The Beaver Creek Stables are situated slope-side and offer trail rides, picnic rides, excursions to Beaver Lake, and sunset dinner rides to Beano’s Cabin. Children age seven and older can hit the trails. Younger buckaroos test their skills on ponies at the mountainside stables. It’s fun, and it’s easy to reserve your ride June 1 through October 1. It’s just so beautiful up there – the wildflowers and all, make it a vacation in itself.
