The best dancers, choreographers, and musicians in the world come to the stages of the Vail Valley for the Vail International Dance Festival.
Surrounded by the beauty of the Colorado Rockies at the Gerald R Ford outdoor amphitheater and in the acoustic beauty of the Beaver Creek ski resort at the Vilar Performing Arts Center, the festival celebrates the art of dance. Returning for a third year in residency, Morphoses presents the Vail debut of Commedia, the Company’s newest work, along with repertory favorites and new ballets created in Vail by founder Christopher Wheeldon.
