May 30 and 31
Freestyle kayakers seeking a roster position on the US Freestyle Kayaking Team will say ‘thank you’ to their hosts by giving time to the City of Glenwood Springs during the week before the competition. USA Freestyle Kayaking and city leaders have identified municipal projects that will enable residents and City employees to meet and work alongside kayakers who are visiting from across the country hoping to represent the USA at the World Freestyle Kayaking Championships.
US Team Trials volunteers will help clear and prepare the All State Communications parking lot used by competitors and organizers. This is an important component for the venue as it provides easier access for those carrying equipment to the Whitewater Park during the US Freestyle Kayaking Team Trials event May 30-31.
