At the reception, rather than trying to please everyone choose music you both like and consider what you think your guests will dance to. After all, we want the dance floor to be filled. A reputable DJ or band leader will work with you to produce a music program that reflects your preferences. Professional musicians will also know how to work with your whole event so that they create atmosphere and do not dominate the event.
