Dobson Ice Arena in Vail Colorado-Summer Schedule 2009

Bob Johnson Hockey School will return July 19-25 for the 24th year bringing top instructors, including U.S. women’s coach and 1980 Olympic team member Mark Johnson, to Vail to teach young players how to develop their hockey skills. The camp features fundamentals of power skating, shooting, passing and stick handling, as well as sportsmanship and teamwork.

Dobson Ice Arena will close for scheduled maintenance Sunday, May 3 and reopen Monday, June 8. Scheduled work includes replacing the ice sheet, cleaning dashboards and glass, plus general maintenance and repair.

Upon reopening, the arena will resume normal operations and programming: ShowTime skating, hockey camps, public skating and its largest adult hockey league to date, which includes 28 teams from Eagle County, including a women’s specific division.
