Beginner River Classes with Alpine Quest Sports and Alpine Kayak
Course starts with an evening or afternoon lake session and progresses to full days on the Colorado river. You will learn effective paddling techniques, paddle strokes, river reading skills, bracing, ferries, eddy turns, peel outs, surfing, personal and group safety techniques. Two day class consists of one lake session and one full river day($169). Three day has one extra day on the river for only $99 more! (3 students required for the extra day) The extra day on the river makes a big difference in developing skills and building confidence. If you have the time, DO IT!!
Beginner River Class is offered 4 times a week all summer long! we also offer beginner Pool Classes for those interested in How to learn to kayak in the winter.
