Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek presents: Great Moments in Opera performed by Teatro Lirico d’Europa

Acclaimed European opera touring company Teatro Lirico D’Europa brings opera’s favorites to Beaver Creek. The company, under the leadership of artistic director Giorgio Lalov, presents timeless arias, duets and choruses from the most beloved operas of all times. The evening will feature highlights from “La Bohème,” “Aida,” “Barbiere Di Siviglia,” “The Marriage of Figaro” and “Carmen,” among others.

Teatro Lirico D’Europa created this special evening of opera’s greatest songs specifically for the VPAC two seasons ago.

Teatro Lirico D’Europa was born in 1988, the brainchild of former ballet star Yves Josse and opera singer Giorgio Lalov. They toured Europe for seven years to great critical success, later setting their sights on touring the company in America. Winter 2000 saw the first major American tour, and the company has been thrilling audiences from Boston to Beaver Creek.
