The center of activities for Nottingham Park and Lake.  Each winter, the lake freezes over and is resurfaced daily to provide a natural ice rink. Skating is free if you have your own skates. The Log Cabin is open from December 13, 2008 daily 12 – 8 p.m. providing ice skate rentals, food concessions, hot chocolate, restrooms, and a warm place to take a break.
