Vail Valley Pony Rides
If your kids are not quite old enough to take a full trail ride, take them for a pony ride. Most outfitters will let an adult lead a pony on a halter, while your small child sits on top as the horse walks around in a small, safe area. Most stables have treats available for the ponies for a nominal fee or donation. These extra monies go to horse treats like carrots and apples.
