Learn How To Kayak with Alpine Kayak in Edwards Colorado

Alpine Kayak has been teaching kayaking since 1989 in the Vail Valley.  Alpine Kayak is located in Alpine Quest Sports’ retail location in Edwards, CO, just minutes from vail and beaver Creek Ski Resorts.  We have one of Colorado’s largest kayak schools and pride ourselves on the quality of instruction and all around experience we can provide to our guests.  All of Alpine Kayak’s instructors are First Aid/ CPR Certified, have Swiftwater Rescue & are certified by the American Canoe Association (ACA) to teach whitewater kayaking.  We recruit instructors from all across the United States to make sure that we have instructors that will not only teach you the skills, but assure that you will have a great time while learning!!

Kayak classes are scheduled for beginners through experts, for all ages and are taught on local rivers, lakes and pools.  We have access to over 100 miles of the Colorado, Eagle & Roaring Fork Rivers.  This allows us to cater our programs to make sure that you have the right learning environment whether it is May, September or anywhere in between.  Water levels are constant on the Colorado River year round so during a record runoff or a drought year we can offer classes on a great stretch of river!  Not quite ready for a whitewater kayak?  Try a sit-on-top tour.

Alpine Kayak has a different river activity scheduled for everyday of the summer and many days in the winter.  We hope our schedule works with yours.  If not, private lessons are available any day at anytime all year long.  We can build a class to cater to your needs!
