The Dobson Ice Arena on Meadow Drive east of the LionsHead parking structure, offers indoor public skating sessions daily in winter. Skate rentals and sharpening are also available. The Black Family Ice Rink in Beaver Creek Village offers year-round skating and is located in the center of the energy and activity of this quaint Colorado village. Scenic outdoor skating is also available. The outdoor skating rink at the Vail Nordic Center is open weather permitting from November – March and offers breathtaking views of the Gore Range. There’s free outdoor public skating on Avon’s Nottingham Lake near the Beaver Creek’s entrance.
